Harvey Group PLC have been selected to Design, Develop and Install the M&E Services for Lismore Comprehensive School, a new £27m post primary school in Craigavon.
Spanning 15,800m2, the new school will accommodate 1200 pupils while achieving high standards in education, operational & sustainable performance, whilst providing a full range of teaching accommodation suitable for a modern co-ed school.
The preconstruction design phase started in October 2021, with Stages 4 and 5 complete, installation works are now underway.
Working alongside Main Contractor O’Hare & McGovern the new facility will provide enhanced sports facilities and state of the art services while achieving BREEAM Excellent.
The school also benefits from a large Learning Support Centre (580m2) located in the heart of the new building making this a fully inclusive “full spectrum” learning school.
Mechanical and Electrical services have been digitally twinned, using Building Information Modelling and include;

- Gas installations
- Soils & wastes
- Dust extraction systems
- Cold & hot water services
- State of the art Interactive Whiteboards
- Class change & clock system
- Fire Alarm & Security Systems (Intruder, door access & CCTV)
- Facilities for the disabled (Disabled refuge & toilet alarm systems)
- Photovoltaic Solar Panels
- ICT / Data / Structured cabling
- Lighting & Controls (LED energy efficient luminaires)
- LV Switchboard & Distribution
- Primary & Secondary Containment
- All fully tested and commissioned
Currently in the construction stage, works are expected to be completed in early 2023.
